Thanksgiving challenge: articles edition

In past years, I’ve done what I’ve called the Thanksgiving challenge, where I just hole up by myself at home and code for the entirety of the Thanksgiving weekend. That didn’t happen this year; or at least, not like that. Instead, I went upstate, which was probably a better option for my mental health.

I had a quiet weekend in the woods. But I nonetheless still had a lot of time on my hands, so I tried to catch up on another challenge: reading one academic article per day. I started this challenge in August, 2024, and I’ve mostly kept up with it, although I’ve fallen a bit behind in recent weeks. So the Thanksgiving weekend was a great opportunity to catch up. I filled my reMarkable with articles, ensconced myself in the woods, and checked out for a bit. It was great.
